CONTROL COVID-19 IN GOA
Why this App?
As per Medical experts, the management of Covid 19 needs daily monitoring of various clinical parameters, such as body temperature, pulse rate, and oxygen saturation levels of the infected individual. While the majority of patients ( 80-85% ) require only symptomatic treatment alongside isolation at home to completely recover from the Covid-19 illness, the remainder 15-20% may develop moderate to severe covid illness.
Our doctors at IMA (Bardez), Goa along with our colleagues in the field across the State, have observed being updated on patient’s clinical parameters has led to timely recognition of home-based patients who need additional treatment or even hospitalization, if necessary.
What does this App do ?
Once registered as a patient on the app, you can use your mobile phone or PC, to easily and quickly update IMA (Bardez), Goa’s Covid monitoring network, to track your health parameters and respond quickly, should you need treatment or hospitalization.
All you need to do is login and enter your HR, Pulse & Oxygen levels along with any Covid related symptoms, 3 times a day. These will be instantly available to monitoring doctors & volunteers on the IMA (Bardez), Goa’s Network.
This will allow them to get in touch with you and advise you on any treatment changes or other course of action you may need to take, should they deem it necessary to help you combat the illness.
This collection of data from across Goa may also be used to help the Goa Government’s health services gain a better understanding of the spread and severity of the disease across the State.
So, each time you enter your own readings, you’re also helping your fellow Goans, in the fight against Covid 19!

How do I register for the App ?
There are 2 ways :
- If you’ve visited a Public Health Center to carry out a Covid test and are positive, you will automatically be entered into the System. Within a day of the visit, you will receive an SMS message, requesting you to sign in to the app.
- Or you believe you’re possibly positive, are awaiting your test results, and would like to begin monitoring? If so, give us a call on +91 87672 49828, and based on our telephonic assessment, we will register you.
